Break the routine and venture to live an unforgettable experience of ecotourism and rest in one of the most biodiverse natural regions of Colombia. The Amazon region occupies 42% of the territory, its large area is home to more than 130,000 species of flora and fauna, thanks to the water wealth it is the favorable home for species such as: pink dolphins, manatees, jaguars. pumas, giant otters, peccaries, the tapir, the capybara, the sloth and various primates, in the same way the largest caiman in the world also lives.
The richness of flora makes this territory a favorable space for life, medicine, community supply and home to wildlife such as: Itahuba, Caricari, Tajibos, Cedro, Cuta barcina, Almandrillo and others. Amazingly, the Amazon is home to medicinal plants capable of curing all kinds of diseases. It is a paradise full of magic, with wildflowers with wonderful shapes and vibrant colors.
On this trip you will have the opportunity to share with communities, spot dolphins from the imposing Amazon River, you will be able to enjoy walks along jungle paths, share with local guides, swim in Amazonian waters, visit a museum, go canoeing and night walks.
We will have the opportunity to live a natural and cultural experience in a mystical place full of history where we can contribute and learn from nature conservation while we rest and enjoy the Amazon.
We will have a cultural and environmental interpretation walk through Mocagua Island, in the company of local guides. During our tour and stay we will be able to sight Pink Dolphins, a species threatened with extinction in Colombia, in the same way we will be able to take a night walk and learn about the fauna, within our trip you will be able to have a walk through the jungle, if we are lucky we will be able to see sloths and visit lakes with the emblematic characteristic plants of the Amazon. Then we will visit Puerto Nariño, we will have a cultural day full of history and we will get to know the Lakes of Tarapoto
Amazon
The Amazon rainforest is the largest tropical forest in the world, with an area of more than 7,000,000 km² that is divided between nine countries, of which Brazil and Peru have the largest area, followed by Colombia and Ecuador. The Amazon stands out for being one of the ecoregions with the greatest biodiversity on the planet. The Amazon rainforest develops around the Amazon River and its river basin. High temperatures favor the development of dense, lush, evergreen vegetation.
Mocagua Community
This community is an indigenous reservation made up of Tikuna, Cocama and Witoto communities on the banks of the Amazon River. A very beautiful place surrounded by all the jungle nature. Here you can taste delicious local food with foods grown in the same community. You can also go wildlife watching, hiking, canoeing and visit a foundation for the rehabilitation of monkeys.
Puerto Narino
This is an attractive tourist destination for adventurous travelers, where the Natutama museum is located, you can go to the viewpoint, see the Lakes of Tarapoto, learn about the legends of the Amazon and enjoy the local economy and its guides.

💧 Carry a bottle of water and maintain constant hydration.
🧢 Wear a hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun. It is important to use sunscreen, remember to use a mineral sunscreen for your face.
👕 Pack light clothes, enough for hot land for five days and that include a change of clothes. We suggest long pants and a long-sleeved shirt since some routes have trees with long branches and this will help us avoid scratches. It is also important to bring a raincoat. Carry comfortable luggage previously packed in plastic bags to avoid humidity
🥾 Wear comfortable shoes, preferably hiking shoes, in any case avoid ballet shoes or fabric tennis shoes. It is important to bring a change of shoes in case your shoes get wet during the tour.
💊 Bring your medications and personal documents (medical insurance card and ID), there are no ATMs in the area. Therefore, we suggest bringing the cash you consider necessary for your personal expenses.
🎒 Do not use a wheeled suitcase and carry an additional kangaroo or small backpack so you can take your personal items on walks.
🔦 Carry a flashlight.
🧴 Bring organic and biodegradable repellent and blocker to avoid contaminating water sources.
🩱 Don't forget to pack your swimsuit and towel for personal use.

You have to take your flight to Leticia, you can buy your flights on Avianca, Viva Air or LATAM
The boat that will take you to Mocagua leaves from Leticia at specific times: 7:00 am, 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. The return boats leave from Puerto Nariño at the following times: 7:00am, 11:00am and 3:00pm
Keep in mind that you are responsible for your belongings. Protect your electronic devices and personal documents from rain and humidity.
Carry your cell phone charged, this will allow you to take photographs and use it in case of emergency.
Your safety is very important, please be cautious, always keep the group in sight and follow the instructions of the guide or trip coordinator.
Do not attend a walk late at night, while intoxicated, pregnant, or with medical disabilities.
Strictly follow your doctor's instructions regarding injuries and, if necessary, carry your personal medications.
It is recommended to reserve your plan 2 or more weeks in advance of the selected travel date. Short dates will be subject to hotel availability, air flights and river transportation.
For people with special health restrictions, it is recommended to consult your doctor before purchasing your airline tickets.
During the rainy season (June, July, August, October and November) the river and its tributaries rise, allowing boats to navigate more properly within the flooded forest and enjoy a magical setting over high canopies that provide a beautiful option for bird watching. In the summer season (December, January, February, March and April) you can see a beautiful scenery with landscapes of beaches, savannahs and streams, ideal for resting and hiking along various trails.
For older people, it is important to verify health conditions to take ecological walks and demanding, extensive tours and extreme weather conditions.
