We will leave Bogotá to the municipality of La Calera to hike one of its most emblematic mountains, the Peña de Tunjaque, a territory inhabited by indigenous communities and whose legacy is of great importance in our history. During the tour we will ascend from 3,000 to 3,600 meters above sea level. The rock and its surroundings are life! Paths full of plants, trees, ferns, orchids, vines, mushrooms, mosses, chusque. We can also enjoy waterfalls, water passes, and a beautiful view.

🥾 We will walk through muddy areas and there may be unstable sections. Wearing shoes that can get wet, boots or footwear with a good grip sole that protects the ankle is ideal. Avoid wearing converse-type sneakers or ballet shoes. Don't wear new shoes on these outings.
