The Belmira páramo, or as it is commonly known (Santa Inés), is located within the ecosystems of the Antioquian environment and is considered an important environment in Colombia. It is also a storage and regulating source of water which is drunk in the Aburrá Valley.
It is a habitat that still preserves important 🌱 plant and 🐞 animal populations representative of the municipalities surrounding the Páramo de Belmira considering that it is pure magic at more than 3,000 meters above sea level. The environment of the moor corresponds mostly to frailejones and grasslands interspersed with vegetation typical of this beautiful ecosystem.
