If you are passionate about waterfalls, you will undoubtedly fall in love with La Humeadora, two reddish waterfalls that when hitting the rocks raise a thick curtain of smoke from which its name derives. You will also be dazzled by the Manto de La Virgen, which with its masterful waterfall, is one of the most beautiful in Colombia.

🌄 Marvel at the landscape of the Virgin's Mantle

Day 1

We will leave Bogotá heading to the Municipality of Gámbita in Santander. We will take the La Humeadora route, the tour begins at the main waterfall, where you can enjoy a wonderful natural environment, feel the force of the water and take photographs. Then we continue this journey towards the waterfall called La Bufalona, where we can walk behind this imposing waterfall! At the waterfall and Pozo La Vieja, depending on the flow of the river, we can swim in the well and jump from different heights, without a doubt a unique experience. At night we will be in a spectacular hotel where we can enjoy its facilities and pool.

Day 2

The second day we will go to the Manto de La Virgen, the tour will begin at the Divino Niño waterfall, there we will be able to enjoy its beauty and take the best memories in photographs. Afterwards, we will continue our way to the Arco Iris waterfall, a waterfall of approximately 80 meters where you can enjoy the rainbow that is formed in this beautiful waterfall. With this preamble, we will arrive at the Mantle of the Virgin. We will enjoy an excellent ecological trail, which during its ascent places us in the upper part of the casada, from where you can enjoy the exuberant beauty of this natural wonder. Afterwards we will find the perfect combination in the refreshing well located at the top of the waterfall, we will continue the journey along the edge of the mountain until we reach the canyon. Estimated arrival time is 1:00 p.m. to begin the return along the same path of arrival and we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch.

We will end the adventure to make our return trip to Bogotá.

Gambita Municipality

In the language of the Chibchas it means "The People of Flowers." Natural sites of special beauty abound in Gámbita everywhere, making it a town with an invaluable natural and landscape heritage.

Virgin's Mantle Route

We will walk to the highest point of Gámbita, on this route we will visit 3 beautiful waterfalls of different heights and our final prize will be to reach the top of the La Hondura canyon, a natural adventure that you do not have to miss, it is wonderful!

La Humeadora Route

For many, it is the best route. Here we will enjoy a series of rum-colored waterfalls, the experience is unique, we will go behind a huge waterfall!

Chocó Cave

Natural treasure of Gámbita, an adventure and nature destination par excellence of the municipality, this incredible and immense cavern consists of 2 sections connected by a water well that adorns the two sectors. The cave takes its name from the sector where it is located, approximately 20 meters high and 200 meters deep, covered in stalactites and stalagmites. Each room with its high ceilings, particular geological formations and rocks formed by dripping are the decorations of this mansion on earth. Leaving the first cave an epic passage opens
