If you are looking for weekend plans, this is a great option: This route begins in the Loma Larga path in the municipality of Nocaima, there we will begin the walk along bridle paths. This first journey will take place along rural roads that will take us to the Andean jungle where you will enjoy the presence of birds and their songs. During this tour we will learn about the process of making panela.
We will visit impressive waterfalls for torrenting:
🧗🏾♂️ Indian Waterfall, 18 meters high and Cueva del Oro, to enter this place we must immerse ourselves in the water.
🧗🏾♂️ El slide waterfall, 10 meters high
🧗🏾♂️ Bat Waterfall, 15 meters high

Municipality of Nocaima
In pre-Columbian times, the territory of the current municipality of Nocaima was populated by the Panche indigenous people. Nocaima are located in strategic ecosystems for the protection of water sources and promotes the maintenance of forest plantations to protect these ecosystems.
Andean Jungle of Nocaima
The Andes mountain range is home to an unmatched wealth of biodiversity, the jungle awaits various species of animals; Bromeliads and orchids are easy to find in this ecosystem that can be enveloped by fog, composed of millions of microdroplets of water that circulate between the forest, rivers and streams.
Caliche Route
A route that connects 3 impressive waterfalls where we will visit the Indian waterfall, Tobogán waterfall and Bat waterfall, along with the Cueva del Oro
💦 This trail is to enjoy the water and therefore we are going to get wet, please don't forget to bring a change of clothes for after the tour. Do not wear jeans or cotton clothing, preferably wear quick-drying clothing.
🥾 We will take a walk through streams and rivers. Wearing shoes that can get wet, boots or footwear with a good grip sole that protects the ankle is ideal. Avoid wearing converse-type sneakers or ballet shoes. Don't wear new shoes on these outings.
🧢 Bring a hat, sunscreen, and ecological mosquito repellent.
💊 Bring your medications and personal documents (medical insurance card and ID).
🎒 Use an ergonomic two-strap backpack to carry on your back.
How do you know if this plan is for you?
This trail is level 3.2 (Medium level) due to the difficulty of the trail, the torrential descents. It does not require considerable physical effort but you will have to overcome some obstacles along the way.
What will the food be like?

We recommend having breakfast before or bringing it to consume before the tour, we will make a stop before the tour for those who wish to have breakfast. This route is demanding, your body may ask for more energy, so we suggest you bring snacks such as fruits, nuts, sandwiches or cereal bars. Don't forget to bring at least a liter of water to hydrate yourself along the way.
