Fura and Tena Hills
The legend inspired by these exotic rock pillars is based on a real, already mythological, couple of the ancestors of the indigenous Muiscas who populated this region of the Andes centuries before the Muzos. The prince's name is Tena and his wife is Fura, the most beautiful in the kingdom. At the beginning of time Fura and Tena were happy and their happiness was assured by the God Are as long as Pura was faithful. But the evil God Sarbe promised the princess her immortality, and with this trick he seduced her, her act of infidelity broke the sky and as a result all evils fell on the world.
