Let's discover new destinations of nature, adventure and history in Huila. We will visit the municipality of Paicol where we can learn about its colonial architecture, share with its people.
Here we will enjoy its main nature attractions where we will raft in the Paéz River, caving in the water box and torrenting in the Serpentine waterfall. Dare to live adventure experiences in a spectacular emerging destination. We have everything organized so you can have a wonderful experience.
We will travel to the Department of Huila where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the most emblematic natural attractions, then we will undertake a fun and extreme adventure along the Páez River, and then explore the Caja de Agua, a cave where we can practice caving and learn about these wonderful geoforms and We will close the first day with a refreshing descent through the imposing Serpent Waterfall.
The next day we will have the opportunity to learn about the history through the colonial architecture of its municipality, then we will have a well-deserved swim in the beautiful waterfalls of La Chorrera and El Elefante.
Paicol,Huila
In the middle of the exuberant mountains and the majestic Páez River, Paicol is located, a cozy town that still preserves colonial architecture and becomes the epicenter of extreme adventures in this unique territory.
Paez River
Huila territory of the Nasa indigenous people, this river is born in the glaciers of the Nevado del Huila Volcano, the highest peak of the central mountain range and of the country, the indigenous people called the Páez River as "Nameyo" Río de las Sardinas.
Water Box Cavern
We will visit the Caja de Agua Cavern where you can explore the natural wealth and diversity of bats (these species are strategic for the conservation of biodiversity) and have fun baths in its slides.
