Adventure in Norcasia: Amaní Reservoir, La Miel River and Manso River from Bogotá

Day 1

We will leave early in the morning from Bogotá to arrive at Norcasia for lunch and begin the adventure. We will visit the "Salto Las Pavas", a 25-minute trek will take place and you will be able to enjoy this magical place and its emerald green waters. We will return to the hotel for our dinner and rest.

Day 2

We will start with our breakfast and a visit to the "La Miel" river where we will have a short talk or induction for the upcoming experience.

We will do bodyrafting in this river and then go by boat to the "La Clara" waterfall between trees, ravines, fauna and flora; in addition to the grey-headed titis monkeys that are typical of the area. Here we will enjoy a fantastic natural landscape with emerald green waters, where we will enjoy a refreshing swim, accompanied by a snack and the respective dinner and rest at the hotel.

Day 3:

After a breakfast with the best of local cuisine. We will visit the Amaní Reservoir and the Manso River. At the Amaní Reservoir, we will navigate until we reach the "Pantángoras" dam; the second tallest dam in the world.

After this tour to go to the Manso River with a 45-minute tour we will do a short experience among: Toucans, Owls, Blue Morpho Butterflies and Yellow Butterflies. Once the itinerary has been completed, we will return to the hotel and leave for the city of Bogotá.

Norcasia

It is a municipality located in the department of Caldas, in the Paisa region, on the Central Mountain Range of the Andes.

Amani Reservoir

The Patángoras dam, at 188 meters, is the second highest in the world and allows the creation of the Amaní reservoir. With capacity for 571 million cubic meters of water, it will generate 8% of the country's energy.

Honey River

The river bathes this very beautiful livestock area of La Dorada in Caldas, considered the second largest after Montería in Córdoba. It is a beautiful river, where you can do various activities such as sailing along the river, horseback riding along its banks, riding a bicycle or simply walking.

• You should bring fresh and light clothing, preferably quick-drying lycra.
• Footwear suitable for the river (Crocs, beach shoes, trekking sandals).
• Cap, hat or kettle.
• If you have a mask and fins, take them, you will put them to good use
• Extra money for personal expenses
• CC identification documents and EPS Card

• Keep in mind that you are responsible for your belongings. Protect your electronic devices and personal documents from rain and humidity.
• Carry your cell phone charged, this will allow you to take photographs and use it in case of emergency.
• Your safety is very important, please be cautious, always keep the group in sight and follow the guide's instructions.
• Do not bring cigarettes or alcoholic beverages. Do not attend a walk late at night, while intoxicated, pregnant, or with medical disabilities.
• Strictly follow your doctor's instructions regarding injuries and, if necessary, carry your personal medications.
